This recipe looks delicious, I can’t wait to try it out. Can I just suggest to tone it down a bit with the ad placements on the website? I know ad revenue is precious and I deeply appreciate your blog and your generosity, but one ad after each step of the recipe, 7 ads inside the recipe card, feels a bit much. Nothing will make me stop coming to this website! But as a very loyal reader, I’d love to have less ads, at least inside the recipe cards. Best to you and your team!

Delicious. As a British chef I was not familiar with scalloped potatoes as a kid but my Canadian husband loves them so I found this recipe and gave it a go. I modified a couple of things slightly – I used a whole onion and caramelised it before adding it into the layers, and I finely grated about an extra 1/3 cup aged Parmigiano Reggiano into the cheddar mix. Otherwise made it pretty much as the recipe said. Top marks!

Absolutely delicious, moist but not overly sweet. Just right amount of carrots. Sliced well, and cream cheese frosting great too

Perfect Tzatziki sauce every time. However, STRUGGLING to find a vegan version of this for someone we’re cooking a vegan meal for and I don’t want to leave out tzatziki sauce! Would coconut yogurt work?

Subbed gluten free flour successfully. This has a very “olive oil forward” taste, so if that’s what you’re going for, this recipe is for you! Not too sweet, perhaps could have used a bit more lemon.

What a fantastic collection! I always have a massive bag of basmati in the pantry but often find myself stuck in a rut making the same two side dishes. I’ve never thought about using rice in a breakfast porridge like you suggested here—that sounds like such a cozy change of pace. This post is definitely going into my ‘permanent favorites’ folder for whenever I’m staring at the cupboard wondering what to make for dinner. Thanks for the inspiration
